Disciple U – Spiritual Warfare class on February 5

As a result of the survey responses received this past September, Northwood has scheduled three “Disciple U” classes this winter and spring. The first is entitled “Spiritual Warfare” and will be led by Northwooder, Rik Wenell.

Rik Wenell commented about the seminar, “There is a battle raging with an unseen enemy. It is a spiritual battle and you were drafted into service when you became a believer in Jesus Christ.” Are you prepared to face the enemy? Maybe you would like a little more information to help you prepare. If so, join us for a class on Spiritual Warfare coming on Saturday, February 5, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Northwood House. How does Satan tempt and attack us? Why is it so hard to do the things that God has called us to do? We will have a study on Satan and the demonic realm, and discuss how God has provided us with strong protection and powerful weapons to resist these attacks and claim the victory that Jesus has already won for us.”

The cost of the class will be $5 to cover the cost of handout materials and refreshments. Childcare will be provided at an additional cost of $3 per child ($6 maximum). Advance registration is preferred. To sign up write “Disciple U” on the back of your information card on Sunday. Also, indicate the number and age of the children requiring childcare.
