Exploring Hope – Sermon on Dec. 27

We can’t measure hope, but we know when we’re running low. We can’t manufacture it, but we can tell when we’ve found a source. Hope is ridiculously contagious. Often all it takes to believe things are going to be ok is for just one other person to believe they will. Hope is a potent force, the tiniest bit can push us through the most difficult circumstances.
The world can be a frightening place, and many things threaten to rob us of hope. Yet hope can be found in the most remarkable places. Youth Pastor Luke Trouten will be sharing his experiences from the Kakuma Refugee Camp, his transcontinental bike ride, and his brother’s fight for survival as we ask, “Do we dare hope?”
