Family Service Project on Nov. 27

Let’s give thousands of people something more to be thankful for. Northwood Student Life and Northwood Kids are teaming up this Thanksgiving Eve to give thousands of children something to be thankful for. On Wednesday, November 27, Northwood families are invited to join us and package thousands of meals for starving children around the world.

We’re inviting the whole family (mom, dad, brother, sister, grandparents, cousins, whoever, as long as they are 5+ years old) to help out, it’s a perfect lesson for young ones on serving others, and a reminder for the older ones about how much we have to be thankful for. Our goal is 100 packers for 90 minutes, we’ll be packing from 6pm – 7:30pm that night.

Afterward, families are invited to invite one another out for dinner, frozen yogurt, etc. and spend some time connecting with one another. It’s a chance to serve, be reminded of all we have to be thankful for, and connect with other Northwood families. What more could you want?

So before you chomp on that turkey leg, why not take 90 minutes and help feed thousands of children? Click the link below to sign up.
