Summary: God told Abraham he was blessed to bless others. Jesus tells us that he came to serve and not be served. The apostle John writes that love is laying down our lives for others. Dallas Willard writes that to love others is to “desire their good.” This is what life in God’s upside down kingdom looks like. It’s completely opposite to how our culture tells us to live. So, how can we reorient our lives so that we are living for others instead of ourselves?
