Our spiritual enemy, Satan, can’t stand it when the name of Jesus
Christ is exalted and the church grows. As a result, Satan does everything he can to
discourage believers and stop the ministry of the church. Amazingly, Satan is not
very creative. He has used the same three strategies since the birth of the church
and we see all of them in Acts 4 – 6. Acts 4 reveals the first attack of Satan:
persecution – physically and psychologically attacking believers and the church.
Here’s a little known fact among believers today – more Christians are persecuted
today than at any time in history since the church began … over 215 million
believers! In other words, Satan continues to do today what he did in Acts 4. So,
what should we do about that? What can we do about that?
