Want to do something that really makes a difference?  Become a Youth Ministry Intern at Northwood Student Life (google us!) and impact student’s lives while learning the ropes of youth ministry!
Northwood Student Life is offering a 12-15 month internship program to work with our amazing group of teenagers.  This person will report to the Youth Pastor while working with a solid team of youth leader volunteers and the most authentic, giving, and welcoming group of students on the planet!
The internship program is designed to help emerging youth pastors gain real life experience that will prepare them to be successful student ministry leaders. We’d love to have you join our team!
You’ll be exposed to mentoring, training, relational ministry, event planning, programming, and tons and tons of fun, zany, deep, meaningful and silly conversations and experiences.
And good news- this isn’t a free internship!  There is a small monthly stipend, and if you live out of town, even better news- we will provide housing with host families!  This way you can be exposed to various family dynamics to gain insight into different types of students lives.  You will also be given a ministry expense budget to help make your cool ideas come to life.
The program dates are a bit flexible, but ideally a June 1 or September 1 start date through August 30 of the following year (12-15 months).
The internship is for full time hours during the summer (June, July, August) and part time hours during the school year. Interns are welcome to obtain a part-time job during the school year (September – May).
If you’re interested in learning more and/or applying for the internship, please email with a resume or summary of your experience and interest to: studentlife@northwood.cc
