Now, we can’t take full credit, but it would appear that the Sunday service we’re planning for this weekend is so cool it changed the forecast. What was looking to be a scorcher on Sunday now looks like a morning of late-summer bliss, and it would be a shame to waste all the gorgeous weather indoors, so we are having worship outside at the Town Green this Sunday.
We’re sorry to flip-flop about whether you should wear flip-flops to church this Sunday, and we’re a bit like the boy who cried wolf. But we promise, for real, this is the last time we’re changing the Sunday plan… probably.
So we’re sorry about yanking your chain about where we’re meeting, but we won’t apologize for the great Sunday we have planned. The band has been rehearshing some great tunes to get your feet tappin’ and hands clappin’. Pastors Brian and Luke are delivering a tag-team message like they were in the WWE (don’t worry, there will be no spandex), and now the weather is finally cooperating and providing what looks to be a beautiful morning to gather outside.
We look forward to seeing you there! One service for the entire family this Sunday:
Worship at 10:50am
Maple Grove Town Green
(adjacent to the Maple Grove Community Center)
Thank you for your understanding, and for joining us for a great worship time this Labor Day Weekend!
