A Living Church Loves Worship
The third mark of a living church is that her people love to worship God personally and together. We see that clearly in the Acts 2 church. They gathered in their homes and the temple courts to worship God. Their worship was private and corporate. Their worship was a combination of reverence and awe for God and joy about God. Stated simply, believers in Jesus and living churches love to worship God the same way as the first church did – with joy and reverence and awe. Her people love to worship God privately in their homes and in gatherings on Sundays. They live their lives as an offering of worship to God, seeking to honor him in everything they do. How is Northwood doing at worshipping God? How are you doing with worshipping God?
