Shipwrecked by a Storm
During Paul’s trials before Governor Felix and King Agrippa Paul invoked rights as a Roman citizen and appealed his case to Caesar. Felix granted Paul’s request so off to Rome Paul sailed with other travelers. Along the way, though, the ship hit a typhoon like storm that put all 276 passengers in peril. Once again, God intervened and protected Paul and everybody else on the ship, saving them from certain death by drowning. Paul’s rescue reminds us that God always accomplishes his purposes even in the face of storms, obstacles, opposition, barriers and everything else Satan throws at us. In other words, God wins … always.
