When Believers Disagree
  -

Read Acts 15:36 – 41 and your first reaction could be, “Ouch!” These verses tell us the story of a huge conflict between two mature, godly believers who loved God and each other – Paul and Barnabas. Their conflict was whether to take John Mark with them as they embarked on their Second Missionary Journey. Paul said “no” because John Mark had “deserted them in Pamphylia” (Acts 13:13), while Barnabas said “yes” because John Mark deserved a second chance. To Paul, mission was most important and to Barnabas restoring John Mark was equally important. So, who was right and who was wrong? What do you think? Is mission more important than people or people more important than mission? Mmmmm ….
